Terms Of Service.

Effective Date: May 22, 2026

Welcome to the EMDR Resource Center website. By accessing or using this website, you agree to the terms outlined below. Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using this site.

Website Use

This website is intended to provide general information about EMDR Resource Center, including therapy services, EMDR training, EMDR consultation, parent support, speaking, resources, and related offerings.

The information on this website is for educational and informational purposes only. It should not be considered medical advice, mental health advice, supervision, consultation, or a substitute for working directly with a qualified professional.

No Professional Relationship Created

Using this website, submitting a contact form, subscribing to a mailing list, or reading website content does not create a therapist-client, consultant-consultee, trainer-trainee, or other professional relationship with EMDR Resource Center or Wendy Sue Horn.

A professional relationship begins only after the appropriate intake, registration, consent, payment, or agreement process has been completed.

Therapy Services

Therapy services are available only where EMDR Resource Center providers are legally authorized to practice.

Therapy availability, location, format, fees, and scheduling are subject to change. Submitting an inquiry does not guarantee acceptance as a client or availability of services.

If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, call 911, go to the nearest emergency room, or contact the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline by calling or texting 988.

Training and Consultation Services

EMDR training, consultation, and professional education offerings are subject to eligibility requirements, registration requirements, attendance policies, payment terms, cancellation policies, and any additional agreements provided during registration.

Completion of EMDR Basic Training does not mean a clinician is EMDRIA Certified. EMDRIA Certification is a separate process with additional requirements.

Participants are responsible for confirming that any training, consultation, or continuing education offering meets their professional licensing, certification, or regulatory requirements.

Website Content

All website content, including text, images, graphics, downloads, course descriptions, resources, and other materials, is provided for general informational purposes.

We make reasonable efforts to keep information accurate and updated, but we do not guarantee that all content will always be complete, current, or free from errors.

EMDR Resource Center may update, remove, or revise website content at any time.

Intellectual Property

All content on this website is owned by or licensed to EMDR Resource Center unless otherwise stated.

You may view and print website content for personal, educational, or non-commercial use. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, sell, or use website content for commercial purposes without written permission.

This website may include links to third-party websites, resources, podcasts, organizations, registration platforms, payment processors, or scheduling tools.

These links are provided for convenience only. EMDR Resource Center is not responsible for the content, privacy practices, accuracy, security, or availability of third-party websites.

Use of third-party websites is subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

User Submissions

When you submit information through a contact form, registration form, email signup, or other website feature, you agree to provide accurate and truthful information.

Please do not submit urgent crisis information, detailed trauma history, or sensitive clinical information through general website forms.

EMDR Resource Center reserves the right not to respond to messages that are inappropriate, abusive, spam, or outside the scope of our services.

Payments, Fees, and Refunds

Fees for therapy, training, consultation, workshops, or other services may vary by service type and are subject to change.

Training, consultation, and event registrations may be subject to specific payment, cancellation, transfer, and refund policies. Those policies will be provided during registration or in the relevant service agreement.
